| We initially developed the concept of the
Working Course in order to enable young people to be able
to experience the hot spring cheaply, but anyone who is
willing to help out is welcome to take part. We ask you
to help with various cleaning and serving duties, and in
return you can stay cheaply in the ryokan and study and
experience the traditional hot spring. Those interested
must first pass an interview (mainly consisting of general
household duties) to ensure they are suitable for the position.
After this, long term stay is possible. Upon completion
of the Working course, you can progress to the Advanced
Course (where your stay is free). |

for Guests requiring a long term hot spring cure □■
In accordance with many requests, we opened our Therapeutic
Center in April 2002!
Apartments are available a mere 30 second walk from
the Kirishimaya Ryokan itself.
The room rates for the Therapeutic Center are cheaper
than in the main building to enable longer term stays.
